Welcome to our 8 Days Serengeti Western corridor Safari! Get a chance to visit one of the world’s famous Serengeti National Park whereby there is the largest population of wildlife, more than millions of wildebeest and Zebras migrating from place to place in a regular pattern in their pursuit of food. In this program, you will visit the western Serengeti where the great migrating herds attempt to cross the Grumeti River while the hungry crocodiles wait for their meal. It is the migration for which Serengeti is perhaps most famous. We have designed the program to include both the Seronera area and the Western corridor where the majority of the wildebeest migration can normally be found from May to June.

You will have a chance to visit a Maasai Boma (traditional village) with welcoming Maasai Warriors more than willing to show you around and explain their traditional life. They will also show you their famous jumping dance and invite you to join in if you like!
You can also go inside houses, meet the children, ask questions and take photos! Rise up early, so that you can depart your lodge for a full day moving with the herds across the plains exploring the Great Migration.
An impressive experience to see all those hoofed mammals, followed by predators, migrate in a clockwise circle every year. If you want to spot the Big Five (lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, and buffalo) all in one park, the Serengeti is the place to be.
Return back to Kirawira Mbugani tented camp for dinner and overnight. The views from the lodge over the Serengeti are fantastic.
After breakfast, you depart for a game drive in the central part of the Serengeti. This part is famous for the abundance of lions and leopards that can usually be seen quite easily.
Game viewing in this central area is spectacular all year round. Enjoy the views of endless plains and stunning wildlife like cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, hippos, ostrich, pangolin, and many more.
Dinner and overnight will be at Serengeti Acacia camp.
This camp is the perfect blend of old African charm and elegance in the heart of Serengeti. Dinner and overnight at Thorn Tree Camp.
After breakfast with your picnic lunch drive to Ngorongoro Crater, you will explore the famous Ngorongoro Crater during a wonderful game drive (with a picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater often described as one of the wonders of the world.
It is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations. It is one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in their natural setting.
As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, and antelopes, many birds, and other species.
With a bit of luck, the ‘Big Five’ can be spotted during one game drive only.
In late afternoon you will be transferred to Karatu’s Tloma lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, you drive to Arusha/Lunch arriving in time for lunch. After lunch, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro airport for your departure flight.
