  • 1
    Day 1: Arrival – Arusha

    Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, you will be met by our representative who will take you to Planet Lodge in Arusha for dinner and overnight. Use this time to get ready to start your safari afresh in the morning, and if time allows we will organize for you a complimentary Arusha town tour.

    Day 2 : Lake Manyara National Park

    After breakfast, you will be transferred to Lake Manyara National Park, where your activities start with nature walk around the edge of the lake. This is a great opportunity for you to learn about different plants with their medical purposes, animal tracks, insects, flowers and to see huge flocks of flamingos at the Lake Manyara.

    This will awake your senses, and make you become one with the wilderness. After a few hours of walk you will continue with a game drive. In this small, but beautiful park with dense forest you can spot lots of monkeys, giraffes, elephants, impalas, hippos, flamingos and if you are lucky you may spot the rare tree climbing lions.

    In the late afternoon you drive to Farm of Dreams in Karatu, for dinner and overnight.

    Day 3 : Central Serengeti

    Depart this morning for a game drive in the central part of the Serengeti National Park. This part of the park is famous for its large number of lions and leopards that can usually be easily spotted.

    Here, the game viewing is spectacular all year round, and you will enjoy the views of endless plains and stunning wildlife like cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, hippos, ostrich, aardvark, pangolin and many more.

    Dinner and overnight will be at Sernegeti Thorn Tree Camp.

    Day 4 : North Serengeti

    This morning, after breakfast we will take you to the northern part of Serengeti for a game drive, following the Mara River.

    Depending on the season, you can witness the spectacular wildebeest crossings of the river, which begins as early as June or as late as August. .

    The wildebeest and zebras must survive the Nile crocodiles and fast flowing water before facing the lions waiting on the other side.

    This time of the year game viewing is sensational, impressive and dramatic. Dinner and overnight will be at Acacia Camp.

    Day 5: North Serengeti

    We continue with our Great Migration Safari Holiday with early morning wakeup, followed by game drive alongside of the Mara Riverm. This is truly an amazing experience, and you will be able to see all those large herds of mammals in search of water and greener pastures, followed by iconic predators.

    This is adventure packed with danger, where only the strongest survive. You may also see hippos, lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, warthogs and if you are lucky the endangered black rhino.

    After the afternoon game drive back for dinner and overnight Acacia Camp.

    Day 6: North Serengeti

    This is another day of full day game drives in the North Serengeti along the Mara river. Dust exploding, lions stalking a moveable feast, gigantic crocodiles and fast flowing wild rivers await the herds as they head north.

    The river crossing of thousands of wildebeest and zebra is absolutely one of the most breathtaking natural wonders in Africa.

    Return to Serengeti Heritage Mara River Camp in the afternoon for dinner and overnight at Mara Kati Kati.

    Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater

    After breakfast you will be transferred from North Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, crossing the Central Serengeti.

    Game drive will be enroute, followed by dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge.

    Day 8: Ngorongoro crater – Tarangire

    Today you will descend to Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive with picnic lunch. This huge natural caldera is a home for close to 30.000 animals, including the Big Five.

    The crater is packed with zebras, buffaloes, lions, wildebeest, warthogs, baboons, elephants, flamingos, ostriches, hippos, cheetahs and a small population of the rare black rhino.

    The beautiful colours and dancing clouds make the crater almost surreal. Because of its natural beauty the Ngorongoro Crater is chosen as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders.

    In the late afternoon you drive to Tarangire’s Osupuko Lodge for dinner and overnight.

    Day 9: Tarangire National Park

    Enjoy early morning game drive in Tarangire National Park with picnic breakfast and lovely sound of elephant trumpets. This lovely park contains the largest concentrations of elephants in the world and the highest number of different species of birds.

    Especially during the dry season, Tarangire is packed with wildlife, and you can expect to see big cats like lions, cheetahs and leopards, including seldom seen Kudu and Oryx.

    If you are really lucky, you can even spot the tree-climbing python. Return to the lodge for dinner, followed by night game drive in the park. You will discover nocturnal animals like porcupines, pangolin, aardvark and others. Overnight will be at Tarangire Osupuko Lodge.

  • 10
    Day 10: Departure

    TOn this last day of your safari you drive back to Arusha for lunch and then continue to Kilimanjaro International Airport for you departure flight.
